Store your camera with the grip facing up and the lens securely resting in the padded U Shaped lens cradle, which Velcro attaches to the bottom of the bag.

The attachable platform gives the option to raise the height of the U cradle, to accommodate the higher lens position on cameras with a battery grip attached.
